Members of the newly formed MIT Integrated Learning Initiative (MITili) convened Friday in Dedham MA to initiate research and development concepts that will create and foster better learning methods from the pK-12 level to higher education and continued educational development. The meeting was led by Dr. Sanjay Sarma, Vice President for Open Learning at MIT's Office of Digital Learning.
Dr. John Gabrieli, who serves as the director of MITili, spoke about the research his lab has conducted on how the brain works and how that relates to our ability to learn.
